The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you use the OWNAMIC application. Personal data is any data that can be used to personally identify you.

2. Data Security (SSL/TLS Encryption)

To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g., SSL/TLS encryption). This ensures that data you transmit to us (e.g., login credentials or photos of your assets) cannot be read by third parties.

3. Storage and Processing of Your Data

We utilize a modern cloud infrastructure to ensure maximum security:

• MySQL Database: Your master data (name, email, profile) and the structure of your portfolio are stored in a secured MySQL database.
• Azure Storage (Microsoft): Your uploaded images and PDF documents are stored in Microsoft Azure Storage. All data is encrypted at rest. Microsoft ensures a high level of protection through strict certifications (e.g., ISO 27001).
• Google AI API: To identify and determine the value of your collectibles, we transmit the photos you take to the Google AI API. Google processes this data for object recognition. We only transmit the necessary image data; no personal profile data is shared with this interface.

4. AI Assistant "OWNY" (Chat Logs)

When you interact with our AI assistant OWNY, the conversation content is temporarily stored.

• Purpose: This allows OWNY to understand the context of the conversation and provide precise answers regarding your portfolio.
• Duration: Chat logs are automatically anonymized or deleted after the session ends or following a defined period of inactivity, unless you have enabled permanent storage for history tracking.

5. Legal Basis for Data Processing

We process your data based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (Performance of a Contract) to provide you with the core functions of OWNAMIC:

• Inventory and cataloging of your valuables.
• Automated valuation via AI.
• Secure document storage (Azure).

6. International Data Transfers

Since we use services from providers like Microsoft (Azure) and Google (AI API), data may be processed in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). We ensure an adequate level of data protection by concluding Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the EU Commission with these providers.

7. Your Rights as a User

Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Access (Art. 15 GDPR): Request information about the data we store about you.
• Deletion (Art. 17 GDPR): Request the immediate deletion of your entire portfolio and images.
• Data Portability (Art. 20 GDPR): Export your data in a machine-readable format.
• Withdrawal of Consent: Withdraw any consent granted (e.g., for the AI chat) at any time for future processing.
